Police made a handful of arrests in Brixton this afternoon as anti lockdown protestors arrived in the locality displaying behaviour that was a mixture of bizarre and offensive.
Having initially gathered in Windrush square, with some of them shouting incoherent slogans in support of Boris Johnson and getting into an argument with some street preachers, they then moved on to Brockwell park as the police began to arrive.
The group which numbered around 25 gathered near the café on the hill before scattering at the sight of yet more approaching plods. A well- known local musician whom encountered them said:
I first saw them by the pond. The group, who were mostly white, were saying some weird stuff about the industrial revolution and immigration.
Then they started shouting at random people wearing masks.
Slogans like: ‘Give us our freedom!’, ‘It’s all a hoax!’, ‘Take off those masks!’ and ‘No one has died!’.
They were even doing this to people accompanied by small children.
Some of the conspiracy theorists stayed around to argue with the police or try and pretend that they were just there for exercise, which was a futile pursuit as many of them had been followed from an earlier gathering at Clapham Common.
Local park users expressed no sympathy with the idiots being arrested which was hardly surprising less than 24 hours after new infections and deaths from the virus hit all time daily highs of sixty eight thousand and thirteen hundred and twenty five respectively.
Lambeth with its overcrowded housing and high levels of poverty has been hit particularly hard by the virus.
It is hard to think of many places in London where these morons could be less welcome.

I wish the police would tell us the names and addresses of these covidiots so we can stay well outbid their way, they can be banned from any shops and are unable to access any health care
