Earlier today, a handful of anti-lockdown protesters made their way through Brixton town centre after an anticipated rally in Windrush Square failed to gain traction.

The crowd of no more than 20 people bellowed out, “Freedom” and “No more Lockdowns,” and were pretty much completely ignored by everyone in Brixton.
Their protest came on the same day that new figures revealed that more than 80,000 people have died in the UK within 28 days of a positive Covid test since the start of the pandemic.
Yesterday, the UK registered its highest daily toll of Covid-19 with 1,325 deaths, while the daily confirmed cases continues to rise at an alarming rate.

Leaflet handed out by the protesters.
