Brixton’s resident conspiracy clown has been busy scrawling his nonsense around town. His latest effort on Acre Lane contrives to link the horrors of slavery and Nazism with the current health requirement to wear a cloth mask in businesses and on public transport.

Surely that would be common sense in a hospital…?? But where’s the need to wear one outside? We were already distancing before the pandemic, nobody was walking or sitting too close to anyone they aren’t related to! The virus exists, but it’s not killing people at the rate we’re being told it is. The figures are related to testing, not covid deaths. The death statistics are for deaths in general, not just covid deaths.The ‘treatment’ has killed more people than the virus itself. Please wake up, we’re being manipulated, and set against each other.

And your suggestion than doctors and hospitals are conspiring to lie about the number of deaths is deeply offensive.
Forming a professional opinion and trying to understand this person’s point of view would be so much more civilised than using petty insults. There are plenty of highly-qualified professionals speaking out on the truth about the information and treatment of this virus, so to simply resort to belittling a person based on a futile assumption about their academic status is irresponsible journalism. Try listening to people like Prof. Sunetra Gupta, for example, or Anna Brees, then form a professional, civilised opinion.

If you’re after professional opinions, why are you totally ignoring the worldwide consensus about the effectiveness of mask wearing from hundreds and thousands of medical professionals and cherry picking the opinion of one lone voice and an unqualified former BBC journo?
