With a Bank Holiday coming up tomorrow, there’s no reason why the weekend can’t be extended right into Sunday, so we’ve put together a selection of bars and clubs that are open way past midnight. Most are free entry.

Club 414 – open till 3am

First up – and our number one recommendation for the night – is the Grassroots music night at Club 414 on Coldharbour Lane, which stays open till 3am.

Led by UB40 trumpet player Patrick Anthony, there’s a razor-tight band onstage featuring talented house and guest musicians playing lively reggae and jazz till close. Admission is by donation, and there’s a real old school Brixton vibe about the place. Lovely!

Grass Roots Live Music at Club 414, 414 Coldharbour Lane, Brixton, SW9 8LF, 10pm-3am. Admission free

White Horse – open till 3am

Hootananny – open till 2am

Cecil Reuben is throwing down a big Roots Rock Reggae Special, featuring a half ton of live acts and DJs. It’s sure to be busy!
