The fabulous Wonderland all-night festival returns to Brixton this Saturday, 18th March, and we have TWO FREE TICKETS to give away!
The charity event in Brixton’s Prince of Wales takes place on two floors and the roof terrace, and features a feast of live bands, DJs, performances, glitter, cakes and oodles of fun. They’re bloody great nights!
Wonderland is entirely in aid of charity and run by volunteers, with all profits going to the Wonder Years Charity which works in The Gambia to bring education, skills training, healthcare and self-sustainability to those in need.
The Wonderland crew put in a tremendous amount of effort to decorate the venue, and this time the ambitious event is themed around the wonders of the universe.
The charity event takes place on two floors – plus the snazzy outdoor roof terrace – and features a feast of live bands, DJs, performances, industrial supplies of glitter, cakes and oodles of fun.
The flyer cordially implores folks to dress up in ‘spacey, cosmo-tastic, intergenic, out of this world costumes’ and promises a night full o’fun.
Keeping the beats coming faster than an amphetamine infused jack hammer will be DMC world champion ON1ST, who’ll be wowing punters with his breathtaking technical skills, plus Brummie DJ/producer Space Jump Salute.
Also busying themselves with the platters that matter will be a galaxy of DJs including Tim Parker, Nice Recordings, Casual Salmon, D. Viant and Louie Snacks.
Looking to get the floor shaking like a supernova blast of Afro/Latin Funk will be ten piece band the 7Suns, backed by resident DJs.

Wonderland is entirely in aid of charity and run by volunteers, who do it all purely for the love and good times!
Over the last 5 years Wonderland has raised over £15,000. Mostly, this has gone towards expanding and improving school facilities for the children of Madina Salaam in The Gambia (building new school buildings, teacher accommodation, paths and other school buildings), with other projects funded such as installing sustainable clean water and electricity provisions for the whole community. Wonder Years is an amazing charity run mainly from The Gambia, with the aim of becoming self-sustaining.
