It’s Friday night and the Buzz crew are teaming up with Brixton’s famous Offline Club and shimmying out of SW9 to put on a stonking free party tonight (Fri 17th Feb) at the rather splendid Railway Tavern in Tulse Hill.
Expect to hear the likes of: Hot Chip, Jay-Z, MGMT, Grandmaster Flash, The Cure, The Smiths, Kelis, Missy Elliott, Prince, Michael Jackson, Sean Paul, David Bowie, Missy Elliot, Destinys Child, Iggy Pop, Drake, Blur, Pixies, Nelly, Le Tigre, Bob Marley, Killers, Specials, Outkast, Chemical Brothers, Earth, Wind & Fire, The Clash, Bonnie Tyler, Kate Bush, White Stripes, Toots & The Maytals and shedloads more!
If you’ve never been to the Railway before, it’s a grand boozer right next to Tulse Hill station with loads of comfy sofas to relax in, a covered balcony, a whopping great beer garden, and a busy dance floor. The crowd are always friendly and there’s a decent selection of beers on tap.
Admission for our night is, as ever, free and we’ll have the usual pack of drink-ravaged DJs throwing down a party fuelled mix of fun tunes from 9.30pm till 1am. Come and dance with us!
DJs on the night:
Expect a hearty, ale-fuelled onslaught of ska, punk, disco, rock’n’roll, reggae, Mrs Mills and Beyonce in a floor stomping package.
BARON BOBBY BAUHAUS (charcoal soul)
More mysterious than Robert Smith’s eyeliner bag, Bobby gets dancefloors rocking with quirky, darkside indie-pop and kohl-smudging breakbeats.
