Calling all photography enthusiasts – Brixton’s ‘photography for social change’ charity, PhotoVoice is launching its first ever photography pub quiz Upstairs at The Ritzy this evening (Tuesday 7th February) and all the money raised from the night will go towards their community work around the world.
PhotoVoice (based in Market Row) is a registered charity that uses photography for positive social change. They facilitate photography workshops with underrepresented communities so that they can share their own perspectives and create tools for advocacy and communication.
They have worked in 35 countries addressing issues such as climate change, HIV, disability and trafficking, to name a few.
Tonight’s fundraising photography quiz will take place between 7pm – 10pm and celebrate everything photographic, from famous faces to the history of photography.
And the money raised from this event will go towards PhotoVoice achieving its vision of a world where everybody has the opportunity to represent themselves and tell their own story.
Quiz tickets are £5 (the Photovoice Gallery Upstairs at The Ritzy runs until and is free to visit).
