We’re celebrating the life and times of Brixton’s favourite son, the magnificent David Bowie, on the first anniversary of his death. On the 6th January 2017, we’re putting on a special Bowie night at the Prince Albert in the heart of Brixton, with all profits going to charity.
On the tragic news of his death last year we were the first venue in Britain to announce a free tribute night, and we drank, danced and celebrated Brixton’s finest with a night of Bowie music to a jam-packed house.
Once again, we’ll have DJs playing Bowie’s hits, album tracks, obscurities and more – plus songs from his musical influences and the artists he inspired – and we’ll screen videos and photos of the great man.
We invite people to dress up in the Bowie look of their choice, with free shots dished out to the best efforts. We chuffing well love Bowie so we want this to be a fun and happy celebration of the man’s incredible life and work.
To ensure that everyone can get in, we’re making this an all ticket event, with ALL profits going to local charities. Note: The event has now sold out.
Please note that once the tickets are strictly limited, so please be quick otherwise you might miss out!
