We suspect that the people running the rides at the annual Children’s Christmas Fair in Brixton’s Windrush Square haven’t had the greatest time of it this year.

We first saw them on December 15th – their first day of business in the square – and saw a deserted scene, lashed by relentless rain.

Skip forward a couple of weeks and the rain was still thundering down, this time as the workers were dismantling the rides.

Thankfully, there was a few dry days over the festive period so hopefully it hasn’t been too bad for the fairground operators.

Just one packed-up ride was left by the square. I guess we’ll see them all again next year!
