There’s a live feed currently broadcasting from the David Bowie mural in Brixton, showing the large crowds who have assembled to pay tribute to Brixton’s fallen superstar, who died today.

Crowds starting gathering as soon as news broke of Bowie’s death, with the artwork opposite Brixton tube station becoming a local focal point.

In the background can be heard Bowie songs playing as people stand around the mural or add their own tributes to the growing collection of flowers, notes and candles.

Tonight, Brixton Buzz will be paying tribute to Bowie with a free party in the nearby Prince Albert in Coldharbour Lane from 8pm to midnight, while an ad hoc street party has been organised to start at 7pm in Windrush Square.

RIP David.
