Monday 4th February: Brixton Book Jam at Hootananny: Readers & Writers Social
Billed as a ‘congenial, intelligent & unpredictable’ free event, Brixton Book Jam is a book club with a difference. All readers, writers and listeners are welcome to get involved and the night as vor Dembina comperes.

Tuesday 5th February:The legendary not-so-easy Pub Quiz night at The Grosvenor
Thinking caps and pulling knickers on, the quiz with two brains has returned to The Grosvenor, now with a rolling roster of tempestuously titivating teasertossers! Drop by a give your brain a good ticking over

Thursday 7th February: Pre Valentines Blind Date Event at Veranda: Dating & DJs
A Pre Valentines Blind Date event for singles with a chance to win a romantic dinner for two on valentines day next week. All contestants will take home a goodie bag with prizes & a DJ will be playing music throughout the ages to round of the night.
Friday 8th February: Offline Club with Pussycat & The Dirty Johnsons live at The Prince Albert: Rock N Roll, Punk, Ska, Indie, Electro
The Urban 75 hosted Offline Club returns with its first live shakedown of 2013 with Pussycat & The Dirty Johnsons to get The Albert jumpin’. Serving up a floor-filling feast of high-octane punk, raw Stooges rockabilly and blues, this Basingstoke four piece are fronted by Pussycat Johnson – one of the liveliest front women we’ve ever seen – expect a full on rock’n’roll party!
Saturday 9th February: Reggae Roast Jamdown 5th Birthday with The Heatwave & Chris Goldfinger (1Xtra) at Plan B: Reggae
After a massive year for the Reggae Roast, they’re back in Brixton to mash up Plan B again & have enlisted the services of everyone’s favourite UK Bashment sound, ‘The Heatwave’ plus 1Xtra’s Dancehall specialist, Chris Goldfinger, to lend a hand in their 5th Birthday celebration!
Sunday 10th February: Globalfaction Presents: Beats Rhymes & Revolution Upstairs at The Ritzy: Hip Hop
Leading international Hip-Hop platforms GlobalFaction, End Of The Weak & Zulu Nation combine for this low key monthly Hip-Hop social club featuring live Hip-Hop & Open Mic cipher with DJ Snuff & guests.
